RICHARDSON, Texas – A big proponent in the rushing game for East Texas Baptist University’s win over Sul Ross State University, 34-32, Toi Glover has been named the American Southwest Conference’s co-Offensive Player of the Week. Glover went over the 1,000 yard rushing mark for ETBU in the win, too.
Glover rushed for two touchdowns while carrying the ball a career-high and ASC best 41 times for 182 yards. It was his fifth 100-yard rushing game this season and second best rushing performance. On his second rushing touchdown, ETBU went 45 yards in which he carried the ball six times for 24 yards.
He finishes the year with 1,050 yards rushing averaging 105 yards per game and 4.7 yards per carry. He had nine rushing touchdowns and touched the ball 222 times. He also had 11 catches for 57 yards and one touchdown.
