ETBU dominated on both ends of the court, as they took a 44-18 lead into halftime. The second half brought more domination from ETBU as they scored 58 points. ETBU outrebounded Belhaven 55-29, with 19 of those rebounds being offense.

Head coach Brandon Curran after the game, “The theme of the week was effort and energy. Against Mary Hardin-Baylor there were a bunch of plays, whether it was deflections, loose balls on the ground, or rebounds in a crowd that we did not get. Tonight we got almost all of them. Every single guy stepped up and made the effort plays. I think the team did a great job overall.”
Belhaven was led by Brandon Pressley with 14 rebounds and five rebounds. Ron Davis added nine points before leaving the game after a technical foul. Belhaven led the game with seven steals. Belhaven shot four free throws in the game.
ETBU will return to action next Thursday at the University of Texas at Dallas in ASC play.
