The East Texas Baptist University Baseball team kicked off the third trip of the Tiger Athletic Mission Experience  (TAME) trip on Sunday with a seven day mission to the Dominican Republic. 
 
Day one began with a 4:00 AM departure from ETBU to Houston.  After a layover in Miami the traveling party of 63, including student-athletes, coaches, staff, and administrators, arrived in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, around 9:00 PM (CST).
 
The team cleared customs and immigration and boarded buses to the hotel for a quick dinner and orientation. 
 
On Monday the team will play their first game, taking on the Dominican Navy National Team at 10:00 AM, followed by a construction and painting project in the afternoon.  
 
Please keep the ETBU Tiger Baseball Team in your prayers this week, as they boldly proclaim Christ and strive to spread the love of Christ with the people of the Dominican Republic through their God-given talents and abilities.
