The ETBU Baseball team spent their fourth day in the Dominican Republic for the Tiger Athletic Mission Experience (TAME) with an island excursion.Â

After an early departure the team had a two hour bus trip and a two hour catamaran ride before the group arrived at Isla Catalina for lunch and an afternoon on the island. The island is only 3.7 square miles and a popular destination because of the white, fine sand beaches and crystal clear water. Christopher Columbus visited the island in 1494.Â

On the return to the buses via speed boats, the team enjoyed a stop at a world famous sand bar between the island and the mainland.Â

Wednesday night included a Chinese themed dinner at the hotel and an early curfew. Thursday will include a youth baseball clinic at a local field followed by ETBU's third game of the week.Â
