RICHARDSON, Texas – Leading the American Southwest Conference in the most first-team selections, East Texas Baptist University garnered nine players receiving All-ASC awards. Seven players were named to the first team to lead the ASC while Lacey Lindsey was named the freshman of the year.
“It’s an honor to get recognized by the league’s coaches,” says head coach Janae Shirley. “We had a unique recruiting class this year where our kids that came in as freshmen did a phenomenal job for us and were huge in our line up. But we also had some returners that stepped up that helped complete our line up. We are pleased with the honor and I am excited for each of those girls.”
